Angelina’s passion for connection and problem-solving made sales a natural fit for her. After earning her marketing degree in 2022, she saw AT&T’s B2B Sales Development Program as the perfect next step. “In the two and a half years I’ve been with AT&T, I’ve consistently progressed to new roles, refined my expertise in business solutions, and built meaningful relationships with customers,” she said. “AT&T has created the ideal environment for me to develop and excel in this field.”
Starting strong
Fresh out of college, Angelina was eager to jumpstart her career, and the B2B Sales Development Program provided the ideal opportunity to channel her enthusiasm into meaningful results. A day in the life
No two days in business sales are the same, and that’s just how Angelina likes it. Some days, she focuses on prospecting – building out a funnel and generating leads. Others, her main priority is account maintenance – assisting current customers with their needs and making sure they have the best solutions in place. “When I’m not in the office, I’m out in the field generating new leads or meeting face-to-face with existing customers to strengthen relationships and explore new opportunities. I’m working to build my funnel and drive revenue growth.”

While the work itself may seem typical for a sales role, the compensation structure at AT&T is anything but ordinary. The more effort I put in the more freedom to earn,” she said.

Angelina finds herself using every tip she can get from in-office networking to boost her sales. “Collaborating has helped me sharpen my approach, find more success, and increase my earnings.”
Continuing to grow
Angelina is not only dedicated on growing the business but also growing her career. Her leaders have been instrumental in her growth, too. They suggest new skills to focus on and ways to prepare for future leadership roles. “Their support, coaching, and belief in abilities have made such a difference, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that truly invests in its people.”
Her hard work is already paying off. Since starting in 2022, she’s already earned three promotions. Then in 2024, she finished as a top 20 seller nationwide at Diamond Club – the top prize in business sales. “I’ve always tried to bring not just results, but joy and authenticity into everything I do. This recognition makes it all feel truly worth it.”
For those considering a career in business sales, her advice is to just go for it. “I come to work each day happy and leave happy. I genuinely enjoy spending time with my team and the job itself is highly rewarding. The autonomy and ability to make a real impact is exciting.
